In the July 2011 cover story, "A Web of Power," Jeannie Choi mentions the New Organizing Institute Education Fund (NOI), a training institute for online organizers. The NOI holds "boot camps" for organizers who are interested in learning the skills and tools needed to execute strong, effective online advocacy campaigns. Participants do not only learn in seminar-like classrooms, but also put the lessons into practice by executing mock organizing campaigns during their time at the boot camp.
