Open-Minded Dogmatism?

COME ON! The editors’ little note regarding the use of “Father” and “kingdom of God” in Stanley Hauerwas’ and William Willimon’s article on the Lord’s Prayer was way out of line. I have difficulty with Christians who prefer to use “reign of God” and include female language for God, but from the editors’ apology one would think that “kingdom of God” is some sort of epithet or curse. This is nothing more than the intolerance of the tolerant and dogmatism of the “open-minded.”
