ED SPIVEY'S January-February 2000 "H'rumphs" ("Surely, There Must Be Some Mistake...") was really good. But someone should have caught that when he referred to guys at the gym "that Jane Goodall could study," he probably didn't mean chimps. Jane studied chimps, not the gorillas I assume he intended. Gorillas were Dian Fossey.
Ed Spivey replies: You haven't seen the guys in my gym. Short, agile, and they work well in groups.
