THANK YOU FOR "The Faith of Mysteries" in the August 1993 issue. Liane Ellison Norman's approach to the mystery genre is unique and fresh.
Worthy of inclusion, I feel, would be Ellis Peter's (aka Edith Pargeter) 12th-century sleuth, Brother Cadfael, who combines the very best form of practical Christianity with a sincere respect--remarkable for his time!--for women's rights. All of his female characters (even the saints!) are strong, enlightened, and focused.
